Check out this new video from recording artist Kepstar. This song is called “The Party. The video presents a bit of dichotomy as he Kepstar parties it up with all his friends, but talks about how this life doesn’t affect him positively anymore. In other words, this one house party doesn’t define success and “making it”.

Check out this song “Nice” from artist, visionary, writer- Quest. He recently put out his album, “?-ions” and it is really eye opening to all of the hardships that people still face today. We are faced with poverty, unemployment and racism worse than ever before and Quest makes it his “quest” to conquer all of those subjects. Perhaps, these things that plague our community have always been prevalent and never really solved. It just takes the next generation to realize these problems never got solved. Hmm. Anyway, listen below. Good song. Listen to the rest of his album on his website here.

If your a fan of the truth, well hopefully you are, you’ll definitely dig this artist Soul Khan. A retired battle rapper, Soul Khan now focuses on putting out truthful and honest albums like his most recent release, Pursuance. He speaks on the immoralities in today’s world and suggests some ideas to fix them. Don’t mistake him for a preacher, he is merely sharing his opinion on a certain situation. With a deep and gritty voice, he will grab your attention and won’t let it go. Definitely worth a listen. If you want to purchase his album, visit his Bandcamp. Production by @AudibleDoctor. Follow him on Twitter @SoulKhan. Like him on Facebook. Check out some of his music videos on Youtube.

Check out this interview I did with Urbanizm Musics’ Sonic Skillz. He’s a masterful producer and specializes in creating instrumentals with laid back, ambient sounds. Sonic Skillz’ music is mainly inspired from his life, such as his love for video games and video game instrumentals, hence the Sonic name. Another inspiration came from a bad car accident he was involved in. In Kanye West style, he decided to write about it, except Sonic Skillz did it without any lyrics.
Through deep emotions translated through music, Sonic was able to deliver an album, ”Road 2 Recovery”, detailing his painstaking healing process through instrumentals. You can really feel the actual pain that Sonic must have been feeling during this time. It really takes a great talent to communicate feelings through sounds and not only words. Quite an achievement.
Besides his numerous credits with Urbanizm Music, he has also done work with a multitude of artists such as Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli and Mega Ran. Currently, he is working on a ton of instrumentals and albums that are set to hit airwaves soon. So stay tuned and keep reading for the full interview to find out more about this unique producer.

If you just wanna chill out and vibe, you can do that as well.
