Runnin With It Presents – Interview Coming Soon With Chicago’s JR Donato & New Video for “Jugg”

Last month I released an exclusive interview with Hoodie Boy Ent rapper JR Donato a.k.a. Young JR. We talked about watching the fight go down between Gunplay and  50 Cent’s entourage, The Jetsons mixtape, growing up in Waukegan and more. Today, I was lucky enough to catch up with Chicago’s hottest up and coming rapper once again while he was back in town visiting New York.

Once we met up at the Sheraton on 7th Ave, we talked about visiting LA and recording with his mentor Wiz Khalifa, meeting Amber Rose, the recording process for his new mixtape “Different Altitudes”, his new street single and video for, “Jugg”, recording with The Jetsons and the rest of Hoodie Boy Ent, his venture into dubstep and much more.

The Game’s “Celebration” track featuring Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga and Chris Brown came out a few weeks ago. Yesterday we finally got the video. This is definitely one of the better collaborations I’ve heard come from the mainstream in a while. They are all on their A game and all deliver some solid verses. Nice laid back track that makes you want to be in California right this moment. Video was shot at Belvedere Skatepark.

Taylor Gang’s First Lady, Lola Monroe, drops a new track called “Don’t Wake Me”. You can download the track below and check out some tour dates for Wiz Khalifa’s 2050 Tour after the jump.

The first song up on today’s hip-hop update is Busta Rhymes feat. Rick Ross and Trey Songz. Busta goes off on “Til We Die” as he lays out two crazy verses. Rick Ross does his thing as usual in the middle and Trey Songz ties the song together with some attitude on the chorus. This song is off Busta’s “Year of the Dreagon”, which is a free release and the first off YMCMB.

The next up is a release from Frank Ocean featuring the steady rising Kendrick Lamar. Great collaboration and Ocean really steals the show on this one although Kendrick holds it down as well. After that is probably the dopest collab out of these. Slaughterhouse ft Eminem + Skylar Grey in “Our House”. If this isn’t the most lyrical group and song out, I don’t know what is. Oh yea, did you see the Eminem feature? After hearing this verse, I can only imagine what is going to be on his next album. It’s gonna be some “ridiculous shit” as that Russian or fake Russian dude says on those Youtube videos with the guns…? Anyone?

Coming up to bat next is The RZA ft Boy Jones (ODB’s son). Slight resemblance to his father, but definitely different. Always nice to hear RZA breathe somethin on a track.

Anyway, to round it out, we lastly have the biggest (as in numbers) collab of the day in “Celebration” by The Game feat. Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Tyga. You already know with that song. Doesn’t dissapoint. Listen to everything after the jump.

While speaking to Cosmic Kev, Wiz Khalifa announces that he has an upcoming remix of “Work Hard Play Hard” with none other than Lil Wayne and Drake.

Here are some good tunes that dropped yesterday. You can check out Wiz Khalifa on Elle Varner’s “Refill” Remix. Slaughterhouse’s “See Dead People”, which is the first release off their upcoming mixtape prior to their major label debut.
