Two of Odd Future’s finest, Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler The Creator, team up for their track “WHOA”. With finely tuned, eeked out synths, the track is also accompanied by their creative lyrics. You can listen to the song below and also watch the video for the single after the jump, which is bizarre as usual, but in a good way. Kind of like something you’d find at a traveling circus.
Problem & IAMSU! link up to shoot a visual for their track Gas. This is offtheir collaborative mixtape Million Dollar Afro. The video was directed by stfUP! Media and is straight to the point. Don’t expect anything flashy, just straight up barssss. Watch after the jump.
Lloyd Feat. Lil Wayne - You
T.I. Feat. Lil Wayne Comin Soon…
Lil Fame Feat. Termanology- Fizzyology (Prod by The Alchemist)
Check out this sick new track, “Fizzyology”, from Lil Fame Feat. Termanology produced by The Alchemist. This is off Lil Fame and Termanologys’ joint album of the same name as this track. Termanology spits first and this kid is on another level. I’m not sure there are many MC’s with the vocabulary, flow and energy that this kid has got. The first verse is a rapid fire, mind boggling rhyme frenzy as he absolutely shuts it down. An MC somewhere just pissed themselves. After that, Lil Fame keeps it G and holds down this dope track. Oh yea, did I mention this was produced by The Alchemist? Oh I did…so why aren’t you listenin already? Track after the jump. Follow these awesome people-
Here’s the long awaited collaboration we have been hearing about. This is off of Pink’s upcoming album, “Here Comes the Weekend” and features the one and only Eminem. They recently collaborated back on Eminem’s “Recovery” and now he returns the favor. Check out this rock-pop anthem after the jump. I guess the weekend arrives on Wednesday this week.
Audible Doctor Feat. Chuuwee- (((Resonate))) (Audio)
Check out this great new track from Audible Doctor of The Brown Bag All Stars. This track is called “(((Resonate)))” and is produced by Audible Doctor himself. He kicks off the track with a free flowing verse about having a good time and trying not to worry about yesterday.
After that, Chuuwee, anchors down the track and drops a slick verse full of word play and visual raps.
This is off his upcoming FREE EP “I Think That”.
I think that this is a very good track and you should show some love and give it a spin. It’ll only take 3 minutes and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
The first song up on today’s hip-hop update is Busta Rhymes feat. Rick Ross and Trey Songz. Busta goes off on “Til We Die” as he lays out two crazy verses. Rick Ross does his thing as usual in the middle and Trey Songz ties the song together with some attitude on the chorus. This song is off Busta’s “Year of the Dreagon”, which is a free release and the first off YMCMB.
The next up is a release from Frank Ocean featuring the steady rising Kendrick Lamar. Great collaboration and Ocean really steals the show on this one although Kendrick holds it down as well. After that is probably the dopest collab out of these. Slaughterhouse ft Eminem + Skylar Grey in “Our House”. If this isn’t the most lyrical group and song out, I don’t know what is. Oh yea, did you see the Eminem feature? After hearing this verse, I can only imagine what is going to be on his next album. It’s gonna be some “ridiculous shit” as that Russian or fake Russian dude says on those Youtube videos with the guns…? Anyone?
Coming up to bat next is The RZA ft Boy Jones (ODB’s son). Slight resemblance to his father, but definitely different. Always nice to hear RZA breathe somethin on a track.
Anyway, to round it out, we lastly have the biggest (as in numbers) collab of the day in “Celebration” by The Game feat. Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Tyga. You already know with that song. Doesn’t dissapoint. Listen to everything after the jump.
Here’s a great collaboration that came out yesterday. Mariah Carey grabs MMG rappers Rick Ross + Meek Mill for her song Triumphant. The trio actually works extremely well together as they battle their demons in the metaphor of a boxing match. They all are decked out in furs and expensive clothing as they sing about their demons and struggle. Meek Mill actually plays the boxer in this video, physically beating up his competition.
